Lesson Plan:
1. Divide the class into three groups (Oil, Interference, and Culture).
2. Each group will read the documents that coordinate with their category from the website tabs. They should answer the questions that follow each document as a group. BE SURE THAT EACH STUDENT IN THE GROUP WRITES DOWN THE ANSWERS.
3. After all documents and questions are completed each group should compose a summary paragraph highlighting the important aspects of their issue and the role it plays on the tension between the US and the Middle East.
4. Divide the students into groups of three, one from each category. Have each student read their summary paragraph to the others in the group.
5. Using all the information gathered, each group of three students will create a magazine cover (use "Magazine Cover" utility from www.bighugelabs.com for a template).
